Micah & Asthma (updated)

Keep Micah in your prayers as he has been struggling again with some breathing issues. He woke up early this morning and was working very hard to breath. He doesn't appear sick but he does have a runny nose and Caleb appears to have cold/allergy symptoms right now. His respiratory rate was around 60 bpm this morning and after his albuterol treatments his poor little heart was just pounding away. We gave him 4 treatments this morning and that seemed to help a lot. We started him back on antibiotics to prevent him from getting pneumonia and ending up in the hospital again. That way if it is a cold/flu it won't turn into a secondary pneumonia infection like last time. If he gets worse he will go back to the doctor right away but for now he seems to be happy and stable. So pray that whatever is causing this goes away soon and that we can stay healthy enough to be home and out of the hospital.

Micah is doing much better. He still is wheezy but he doesn't seem to be working extra hard. I think the albuterol treatments are making a big difference. He is not sick so I am guessing it is just asthma. The bad thing is that we may be dealing with this a lot now :( Pray that his little lungs are strengthened.
